This has been a while in the making – a big rebrand, a new lash studio location in Port Moody (coming after the COVID craziness!) located at 16 – 3130 Saint John’s Street. We will also be expanding our services to include lash extension training and certification, among other treatments done by local mavens in their field. Think: brows, microblading, permanent makeup, manicures, teeth whitening or spray tanning. Construction of the lash studio has been underway for several weeks now and I can’t wait to show everyone when it’s ready.
When I started Lash’d, I knew lashes were all I wanted to do. I still feel that way. I also feel like it’s time to expand – because why do anything if you can’t learn and grow from it? I’m itching to get going and bring a depth of skill in lashing that simply doesn’t exist in the Port Moody, Coquitlam, or Port Coquitlam area.
One thing I have learned in the years of doing lashes is that there’s a huge deficit in the level of training provided to new lash artists. It is a real pain point of mine! I want to create a space where lash MAVENS are made and nurtured. A place where training is more like an apprenticeship rather than a 1 day seminar with little hands on guidance. A place where clients can come and know for sure that the person doing their lashes is doing the best work locally – bar none.
None of this business would be possible without the clients that have put their trust in me and my team to help them feel more beautiful. The relationships that have been built are the foundation of the company. As lash artists we look to our clients for inspiration and the lashes we create for them are based on a collaborative approach. The client is our MUSE.
So that’s the scoop for now…I hope to have more goodies to trickle out over the coming weeks and months.
The new website for Muse + Maven will be museandmaven.ca.
Stay well and stay safe!
